A note from Cathy: I guide midlife women to go from overwhelmed and confused to empowered, clear and confident in the kitchen. We work together to heal their metabolisms through incremental food and lifestyle changes. I am a Certified Functional Medicine Health Coach, Functional Fitness Coach and a Professional Chef of 20 years. I started Rev Up My Metabolism to help women in their 40s-50s stop riding shotgun to their metabolisms and get in the driver's seat of this incredible chapter.
We use functional testing to make informed decisions, working to improve chronic fatigue, brain fog, joint pain, low libido, stubborn midlife weight gain, anxiety and depression. Our community focuses on empowering each other to advocate for our health with our healthcare practitioners, family and friends. Women learn how to nourish their bodies one bite at a time; learning how to stock their kitchens with helpful ingredients, then how to plan, shop, cook, store and even entertain in a way that supports health and healing.
I am uniquely qualified to educate women on how to change their kitchen habits to better support their goals. I first traveled the world as a yacht chef for ten years, cooking on 5 continents, for the most discerning of palates. Then I became an executive chef of a restaurant and catering company, catering to a broad range of palates, dietary restrictions and preferences. Through those experiences I created a framework that helps take away the decision fatigue that often comes with menu planning and execution. Clients make incremental changes to what and how they eat, along with other lifestyle changes, to ensure they create a sustainable lifestyle without overwhelm.
