About Dinah Rainey:

Dinah Rainey is a CDC Certified Divorce Coach® and the founder and owner of Dinah Rainey, LLC, a women’s divorce coaching business. With over 30 years of legal experience and more than 15 years as a family law attorney, Dinah specializes in helping women strategically prepare for and navigate the divorce process.

As a family law attorney, she has represented over 750 clients in domestic relations matters including divorce, child and spousal support, custody and visitation, parental rights, adoptions, guardianships, and domestic violence cases.

Dinah is also a registered mediator in the State of Georgia and has helped numerous couples resolve their legal disputes amicably. She has also served as a Guardian Ad Litem, investigating high-conflict child custody cases, and recommending custodial arrangements to a family law judge based on the best interest of the children.

Dinah began her professional career serving on active duty in the United States Army, first in human resources and then as an attorney, retiring as a lieutenant colonel after 20 years of service. Her military career highlights include being honored as the Young Army Lawyer of the Year by the American Bar Association.

Beyond her coaching practice, Dinah is also the founder and owner of a consulting firm and a real estate investment company. She has also founded and owned law firms in California and Georgia.

Dinah earned her law degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, a master’s degree in human resources management from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, California, and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is married to a retired military veteran and is the proud parent of two adult children.
